Well actually, some great things are happenning at Our Lady of Guadalupe. We are sure you have noticed the construction work involving the moving, of the former, Juan Diego Spiritual Guidance Center. There are some momentous memories in that building and it has served dutifully and faithfully. Click here to read some of the history of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. It has come time to make way for grander things. This calls to mind the passage from John 12:24;
Amen, amen, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains just a grain of wheat;r but if it dies, it produces much fruit.
By removing the Juan Diego Spritual Guidance Center it opens the land for greater fruit not only for the parish, but for the community as well. This will help us all to prepare the road for the kingdom of God. So you are probably asking yourself what can I do to help?
1. First and foremost PRAYER. God asks that we have a relationship with him and one way to get closer to Him is through prayer.
2. DONATIONS we kindly ask that you donate what you can, even if it's just a penny. The small change really adds up. You can also give weekly, we have special envelopes specifically for the Building Fund and they can be located at the back of the Church or through the Church office.
3. Get involved! Everyone has a gift, please use that gift to help build the Kingdom of God. Contact the Church office.
God Bless You All
